Care over conversion

Every product decision asks: does this make care better? Engagement metrics serve outcomes, never the other way.

Identity is not a feature

Race, gender, faith, neurodivergence, lived experience — we treat them as the load-bearing structure of fit, not a filter chip.

Privacy as posture

We assume every byte is sensitive until you say otherwise. Defaults are conservative, audits are public, and members own their data.

Practitioners are the product

We build for clinicians the way Stripe builds for developers. The best clinicians stay because the tools respect their time.

We didn't start Lily because the world needed another therapy app. We started it because we'd watched too many friends — Black, queer, neurodivergent, immigrant, all of the above — give up on therapy after the third try. The system was the bug. We're the patch.
